Coming from Australia, it is very common to go sunbathing on a beach on a sunny day. I find it very amusing that the second the sun appears in the UK that every man & his dog race down to the nearest park & sunbath in their swimwear. Finding a half naked person in a park is a very strange concept to me! Then, 2 or 3 days later all you see around the UK is little red bodies & red faces. I find this very, very funny. Although, it wasn't very funny yesterday, when I became one of those little red bodies with a red face running around London :(

It was a pleasure seeing our representatives in the final of this competition being given a lesson in football by Barcelona. The reason I say a pleasure is because of the bragging beforehand by all and sundry as if to say Barcelona need not turn up we have already won back to back titles, every commentator was predicting a 3 - 1 score line in favour of MU. There is absolutely no reason why they should be given any sympathy they were outplayed and that's all there is to it.
All football fans know the power of MU in the Premier League so there is absolutely no need for their schoolboy antics nor is there any need for excuses be gracious in defeat and people will think more of you, your top players were outplayed and didn't turn up, it happens to every team where is it G-D given right to win without playing.

There is a company (we all know) that has 6 spaces in their front car park and slightly more room in the rear car park, as with most places of work many of the employees have cars.
This particular company has a car parking policy that only Senior Managers and visitors should be allowed to use the front car park and all other staff should find parking on the street. As I said there are 6 spaces and some how they manage to get 10 or more cars on the front because young people are too lazy to find street parking or use the local car parks approx 5 to 8 minutes walk from the premises.
They have a constant problem trying to load vehicles because the loading bay is full with somebody or other car and G-D forbid somebody wants to get out during the day they have a major moving job on their hands.
Is there a solution? Does anybody reading this blog know how to solve a car parking problem like this without telling everybody that they cannot park on the premises and they have to park elsewhere?

Here we go another season without Silverware this is the fifth season and we are getting the same old excuses as we have had since 2004.
Mr Wenger no doubt a great manager but unfortunately his excuses don't bring in the trophies all we hear is its a young side and you will see it maturing next season how long can he get away with this the long suffering supporters who spend £1000s each year are fed up with this situation I know there are plenty of teams that would like to finish 4th in the Premiership every year and for them that would be enough but for a club like Arsenal its just not good enough.
May I respectfully suggest to Mr Wenger and the Arsenal board that they get their chequebook out and replace the good players that they so willingly sold or lost over the last few years and replace them with the experienced players instead of the kids that he has bought. One can see that by adding a player like Arshavin in January the team has been strengthened. There is no doubt that Gallas & Clichie have been missed but even with them in the side we would not have done anything this season so lets forget the excuses lets strengthen the team Get rid of the dead wood (I won't mention the names because we all know who they are)
If one takes a leaf out of Sir Alex's book at Manchester United and watch how he makes his team better each season by adding experience they are £850 million pounds in debt but they spend £30 or £40 million each season and the other very relevant fact is they don't sell their best players that's why they win and keep on winning. although it hurts me to say it I'm afraid that unless Arsenal change their scrooge policy we will continue to fall down the table with clubs like Spurs, Aston Villa, Everton & Fulham coming up behind and not afraid to spend to strengthen their clubs.
Arsenal have great facilities great stadium and all the ingredients to be at the top in the future but without the right squad of players all the ammenities mean absolutely nothing.

So the first test match ends in 3 days and the second lasts till the afternoon of the fifth. Of course it would have been far more useful if this would have been reverse. We are the supplier to the laundry that has The Lords linen contract. A 3 day test match uses a lot less linen than a 5 day game.
Having followed cricket for ages, I was very disappointed with this series anyway. You had a team playing that clearly did not want to be there and had no desire to even play a test match and stadiums that were hardly full over the course of both the matches.
I hear England have now moved up to 5th too in the rankings. If beating the West Indies moves us up 4 places then winning the Ashes should guarantee us top spot for ever.
Sorry to be a little cynical but I cant help but feel these test matches have done cricket more harm than good. Test Cricket hasnt been flavour of the month for a while now. The last two weeks certainly hasnt helped its course
